Recently, I received several text messages from different people from the film industry regarding the case of MTRCB (Movie and Television Review and Classification Board) against gay films exhibited in UP Film Center.
They were blaming the film "Sagwan" as the precipitating factor for this case. They were even blaming its director Monti Parungao for his appearing in a blow job scene with one of his actors which earned the ire of some industry insiders making them raise their concern publicly on the "growing gay pornography" in UP. I also came across several indignant blog readers on this controversial scene in the film.
Let me share exactly what I know on this alleged "blow job" scene from the director.
First, the director is not new to oncam blow job scenes. He is an actor who has appeared in the films Masahista and La Vida Loca. He also played the role of "Perida" in "Ang Lalake sa Parola" (The Man in the Lighthouse) where he did get to have a blow job scene with a teenager and gets beaten up in the end.
And more importantly, I don't think he could ever suck his actor's cock oncam. As to my recollection he is still sane and he would never do it in front of his camera men, his staff and his friends.
And why would he even bother doing it oncam when he could always do it in the privacy of his own room?
