Gay Men's Yoga in Makati

As a registered yoga teacher and as a practitioner for more than 5 years, I must say yoga has been tremendously helpful with my bedroom skills. And for this, I am happy to announce that there's new class concept for yoga in Metro Manila.

Yoga Loca is a class exclusively for gay men. In this class, all students are required to be in their underwear (thongs preferred), and is geared to improve muscle definition, energy and a sense of enjoyment with fellow gay men. The class is taught by my friend, Paolo Leonido, a fellow vinyasa yoga instructorand is held every Thursdays 6:30-8pm and Saturdays 5:30-7pm.

It is held at the Penthouse of Century Plaza along Perea st., Legaspi village, Makati. You can opt for a drop-in rate of Php500 or you can buy a package of Php2400 for 6 classes. For more details, you may call 0906-5063958 or email echoyogaworkshop@gmail.com

Risky

I admire all the efforts of my former schoolmate Wanggo Gallaga, lifestyle writer and son of acclaimed filmmaker Peque Gallaga for HIV education. Having been sexually active myself, I know that there are so many good looking men out there who are very risky with their sexual behavior. And in times of heat, when a sexy guy seduces you to do it bareback, it takes a lot of "rational perspecitve" to say no to it.

Hats off to you, Wanggo!

Kiss

Kiss.

It triggers a whole spectrum of physiological processes that boost your immunity.

That extra saliva in a wet kiss washes bacteria off your teeth, which can help break down oral plaque.

A serious, tongue-tangling French kiss exercises all the underlying muscles of the face -- which some say could keep you looking younger, and certainly looking happier.

Go ahead, kiss your man. Or quick, find a man to kiss.

This "kissing" photo is a still from "Pulupot" with Justin De Leon in a tender kiss with newcomer Gio Gapas.

Check Your Testicles!

Acording to health experts, every month, we must check our testicles for some outgrowth. After a warm shower, roll each testicles between your thumb and index finger and check for some unusual bumps. If a tumor grows unchecked for at least 2 months, cancer could have metastasized (spread of cancer cells).

Any hot guys in need of help for some testicle check? Let me know.

Body Image

Recently, mayoclinic.com has published an article on commone health issues among gay men. One of which is eating disorder. Here's what the medical publishers have written about it:

Gay men are more likely to experience body image problems and eating disorders, such as anorexia and bulimia nervosa, than are their straight counterparts. One explanation is that gay men aim to sexually attract men, which subjects them to the same kind of body image pressure as heterosexual women. Gay men also may engage in more social comparison than do heterosexual men, possibly causing gay men to feel more dissatisfied with their appearance.

If you're struggling with body image problems or an eating disorder, get help. Talk to your doctor or a trusted friend or loved one. Together you may find possible treatment options.

Penis Massage: Intro

In the Sanskrit tradition from India, penis is called Lingam and is loosely translated as "Wand of Light." (I agree, I see light all around me whenever I see a from a gorgeous man!)

In Tantra or Sacred Sexuality, the Lingam is respectfully viewed and honored, as a "Wand of Light" that channels creative energy and pleasure. (perhaps, I'm unknowingly a Tantra follower -- I honor and respect every penis that appears before me and it actually gives me creative inspiration)

Back to the topic, because the penis is an honorable "wand of light", Tantric tradition has mastered an art referred to as "lingam massage".

Here are some notes from whitelotuseast.com:

Orgasm is not the goal of the Lingam massage although it can be a pleasant and welcome side effect. The goal is to massage the Lingam, also including testicles, perineum and Sacred Spot (prostate) externally, allowing the man to surrender to a form of pleasure he may not be accustomed to. From this perspective both receiver and giver relax into the massage.

Men need to learn to relax and receive. Traditional sexual conditioning has the man in a doing and goal oriented mode. The Lingam Massage allows the man to experience his softer, more receptive side and experience pleasure from a non-traditional perspective.

Beginning the Massage

Have the receiver lie on his back with pillows under his head so he can look up at his partner (giver). Place a pillow, covered with a towel, under his hips. His legs are to be spread apart with the knees slightly bent (pillows or cushions under the knees will also help) and his genitals clearly exposed for the massage. Before contacting the body, begin with deep, relaxed breathing. Gently massage the legs, abdomen, thighs, chest, nipples, etc., to get the receiver to relax. Remind the receiver to breathe deeply and to sink deeper into relaxation.

Pour a small quantity of oil on the shaft of the Lingam and testicles. Begin gently massaging the testicles, taking care to not cause pain in this sensitive area. Massage the scrotum gently, causing it to relax. Massage the area above the Lingam, on the pubic bone. Massage the Perineum, the area between the testicles and anus. Take time when massaging the shaft of the Lingam. Vary the speed and pressure. Gently squeeze the Lingam at the base with your right hand, pull up and slide off, then alternate with your left hand. Take your time doing this, right, left, right, left, etc. Then, change the direction by starting the squeeze at the head of the Lingam and then sliding down and off. Again, alternate with right and left hands.

More on this on my next few posts.

Always Erect

When I was young, I have been fascinated with the medical condition called "priapism", where one's penis is in constant erection for quite some time and does not return to its flaccid state.

What makes this an abnormal condition is that penis stays erect for more than four hours without any physical or psychological stimulation -- no masterful tongue playing with it nor videos of Josh Ivan Morales in front of you.

The name comes from the Greek god Priapus, referring to the myth that he was punished by the other gods for attempting to rape a goddess, by being given a huge, but useless, set of wooden genitals.

Priapism despite of it's "exciting" characteristics is something that we wouldn't want to happen to us - it may cause damage to the blood vessels of our very precious organ resulting to impotence or may even cause gangrene, tissue death, which could lead to penis removal (which reminds me of Monique Wilson in "Laro sa Baga" and Ruffa Gutierrez in "Loretta")
