For several years, the male sex workers parading around the Quezon city circle have been known to be in cahoots with a bunch of police extortionists. Late last year these police men were suspended when they were reported by a group of female college students they victimized after they hired an interview in their study.
And unfortunately, the police men and their male prostitutes accomplices are at it again. Here's an email from a recent victim:
Hi Lex,
my friend and i picked up 2 guys from qc circle for total sum of 800 for both of them to go all the way. When we agreed to take them in the car, they suggested a cheap motel in visayas avenue worth 150. To our delight, we followed their direction and low and behold, just 2 minutes in visayas avenue, a pnp vehicle was already hailing us to stop.
The cops wanted us to go to the police station because there was a supposed city ordinance that prohibited people from picking up "call boys". They said that we were to be detained for about a week, that their would be a media splurge and they would call our relatives. By the way, the bail is about 20000. To make it more dramatic, they said that jessica soho's crew is already waiting to take shots and the call boys, who were actually an accomplice, admitted bluntly that he was only 17 years old.
My friend instantly panicked and wanted to pay them off. The cops tried to make it seem real by insisting that we go to the police station, but in the end, agreed to return our id's and let us go if we pay 10,000 (5000 per person)

I know that what the cops are doing is wrong pero wag naman kayo magmalinis. It really is illegal for you to avail of the services of sex workers.
Please remember that exploting a human being's poverty is just as bad as stealing. Tigilan niyo na ang pag pick-up ng callboy.
Caution should always be practiced. It pays to keep counterfit money just in case.
But what if there is mutual agreement from both the gay guy and the call boy? Would you consider this as exploitation?
maybe you can report this modus to imbestigador? I know someone who works at gma, maybe she can help to refer the complainant.

dapat nga kayo masusunod sa place... beware din sa mga callboys... kasi minsan mga holduper yang mga yan na may mga dalang patalim... kaya mas maganda kung dalhin niyo malapit lang sa place niyo para if in case na may mangyaring masama! may mag rerescue... and make sure na straight guys.... kasi baka di niyo alam natanso na kayo....
that happened to me in March 2009 in JP Rizal Makati. police extorted money from me cause may mga press na daw nag aantay sa amin sa police station. fearing that my family will learn about it, i gave in and gave them 8K. buti na lang may dala ako pera that time. it was really traumatic. nagpaikot ikot pa kami around jp rizal just to find a spot where we can do the negotiations while the guy was inside the mobile. until now the same guy i hired is going around jp rizal. he can be easily recognized, he wears this big headphones i think may communication siya dun with the police.
