MUSIC VIDEO: Awit Para kay Antonio

This is the music video of "Awit para kay Antonio", the first song I have ever written. It was used as theme song for the film "Ang Lihim ni Antonio" (Antonio's Secret). My personal tribute to the great philosophers of existentialism.

Working with "Macho Dancers"

Late last year, I had the pleasure of working with several professional male strippers for the special interest video called "Hubad: Striptease Sessions for the Daring Man". In this project, we needed actual strippers to dance with our lead model, Johnron Tanada.

We scouted several gay bars (the one with male strippers gyrating onstage) for a few nights to gather some of the most talented strippers for the video. From Quezon city, up to Malabon all the way to Makati and Pasay, I had one of the most memorable immersion in my life. (I had never been a gay bar patron as I find this quite expensive!).

After the team decided who among the strippers make it to the "final cut", we started our dance rehearsals. I produced the "behind-the-scenes" segment of this video so I practically had to cover everything.

Beyond the excitement of working with these guys, I learned a lot from them. From why they like their hair colored (because Korean women prefer strippers with hair color) to how much they earn on a daily (or nightly) basis to how to properly wrap the penis with a rubber to maintain one's erection all throughout the night!

But what impressed me the most was their passion for dancing. I have worked with professional dancers in different shows before, And I admit that I never expected these strippers to show the same kind of dedication into their art of "macho dancing". After this project I realized that macho dancing was actually indeed a performing art and as such requires dedication, hard work and a lot of passion!

Raving about Rayan

I first saw Rayan Dulay in his role as as newbie gay man in Crisaldo Pablo's "Bath house" a few years ago. And I was impressed by the sensitivity of this young actor. So, when we were looking for a good actor to fill in one of the lead roles in our film "Kambyo", I immediately suggested Rayan to my director Jay Altarejos. It was a good thing that director Cris Pablo gladly shared his prized talent to Viva Digital.

And I was pleasantly surprised to observe that Rayan was very different from his roles in his movies. For one, he is straight. He was certainly not innocent in so many things in life. He is a free spirited man, grounded and determined.

And aside from being a very talented actor, Rayan gave Jonron Tanada a sexual experience in front of the camera, Jonron could never forget!

Trip with Johnron

Johnron Tanada is one of the most sought after members of Viva's Men of Provoq. "Kambyo" is my third project with him after the special interest videos "Cruise" and "Hubad: Striptease Sessions for the Daring Men".

Among the cast of "Kambyo", Johnron is the most reserved type. During the shoot, he experienced some slight fever as he just came from another shoot of another film. This guy is hardworking and is determined to go somewhere.

Here's an excerpt from Johnron's profile, which I have written for the Cruise Coffee table book.

"Johnron is a former Catholic seminarian from the province of Quezon. His winning of a mall based modeling search in Manila marks his entry in the industry. Despite of his picture perfect muscle toned body, he still claims to feel uncomfortable when other people call him sexy every time he bares in front of the camera.

He is not exactly choosy when it comes to dating women. But when a woman starts to smoke, she is automatically out of his list. Being a health buff, he enjoys helping other people with their weight training programs in the gym.

When asked why he has always wanted to be a priest, he recalls how amazed he was as a child with the attention and the respect that a priest can command from his parishioners. But he doesn’t have to worry. With his drop dead gorgeous looks, he certainly can command more than attention and respect. Some of his fans would even gladly worship him."

Above are some photos of him I took during our four day trip to Ilocos.

Shooting Kambyo

I just came from the shoot of my third screenplay "Kambyo". And yes, it's a gay film starring Kenji Garcia (Ang Lihim ni Antonio), Rayan Dulay (Bath house), Harold Macasero and Viva's Provoq Men Gabz Del Rosario and Johnron Tanada.

The film is a road trip of four friends from Manila all the way up north to Paoay, Ilocos Norte.

Ill be posting more bits on this film (sexy photos, behind the scene updates, etc.) on the coming days after getting some sleep :)

Ang Lihim ni Antonio: Scene 40

"Ang Lihim ni Antonio" (Antonio's Secret) is now out on DVD in the Philippines. Here's another "much awaited" scene in the film

40. INT/ NIGHT/ ANTONIO ROOM

Naka-brief lang si Jonbert. Nagbabasa si Antonio pero this time hindi na niya tinitngnan ang kanyang tito.

JONBERT
Marami kayong kinita sa caroling niyo?

Matagal bago sumagot si Antonio.

ANTONIO
Ok lang…

JONBERT
Magkano ba napaghahatian niyo sa isang gabi?

Walang ganang sumagot si Antonio.

ANTONIO
Depende…

Mapapansin ni Jonbert ang matamlay na pagsagot ni Antonio.

JONBERT
Kanina ka pa ganyan sumagot sa akin. May problema ka ba?

This time Antonio quickly answers.

ANTONIO
Wala a.

JONBERT
Sabihin mo na…ok lang…anong problema?

ANTONIO
Wala nga e.

JONBERT

This time, Antonio freely feasts on the body of Jonbert.

Mauuwi ito sa isang oral sex.

Parola Secrets 2

Here's the second part of the behind-the-scenes of "Ang Lalake sa Parola" (The Man in the Lighthouse)

  • The original title of this film is "Sayaw ng Diwata" but it was changed to the present title as the producers from Viva want a more sexually suggestive idea.
  • Harry Laurel hails from Bicol just like his character Mateo. This was one of the major reasons he got the role.
  • The cellphone number used by Justin De Leon in the film obviously does not belong to him. But many people still text this number hoping that this is the actual phone number of the actor.
  • If you'd listen closely to Harry Laurel's interview in this video, he has indirectly admitted having sex with a gay man :)
