The Men in the Locker Room

A while ago inside the gym's locker room, I was with about ten other men who were all gym toned in various states of undress preparing for the day. The TV was broadcasting Kris Aquino and her topic was make up. The talk show's topic focused on how to trim the eye brows.

Then suddenly, as if a news-shaking event happened, all the men inside the locker room dropped whatever it was that they were doing and all eyes and ears began to focus on the eye brow talk. Were we all gay or are eye brows now an important topic with straight men nowadays?

Allan, The Barako

Allan Stevens was one of the actors in our film Kape Barako where he played a retired stripper who decides to apply as a waiter for the infamous coffee shop. In real life, he is a stripper at Planet Xanadu in South Triangle, Quezon city.

And in my recent trip to the bar with my dear friend Mr. D from Singapore, I took some photos of Allan doing what he does best - grind in his bikinis.

Kape Barako is coming very soon.

Here's a positive message for many gay men out there which I lifte from a facebook friend, Michael Mia:

This is ME! I look the way I look, think the way I think, feel the way I feel, love the way I love! I am a whole complex package. Take me... or leave me. Accept me - or walk away! Do not try to make me feel like less of a person, just because I don't fit your idea of who I should be and don't try to change me to fit your mold. If I need to change, I alone will make that decision."

The Taxi Blow Job Scheme

An anonymous reader sends a message recounting his experience with a taxi driver:

i was also victimized by CB-taxi driver-Police scheme. I rode a taxi going to Malate. This driver, who is good looking had a big bulge in his crotch.. I was staring at his bulge then he said you can hold it if you want. So I touched his crotch then he later asked me to give him a head.He parked his taxi in one the dark streets in malate. Then he texted someone. While I was giving him a head, a policeman suddenly appeared . He asked me to go out of the taxi and later asked for money....After giving him money. They both left..

Thanks Mr. anonymous for sharing this story. There are many people out there with all kinds of scheme to get money from gay men. Be safe.

Hot Japanese

I never saw Japanese men as sexy. I idolized them when I was young, watching Japanese action series (Shaider, Bioman, and all). But i was just not attracted to them.

Until a few days ago in my recent Boracay trip. I was hanging around the lounge of Discovery Shores when I got to see eight hot Japanese guys. And I was in awe. I was pretty sure they were gay. There was no women in their group. They had a gym built body. And they were all in hot skimpy trunks (such a give away).

It was such a delight watching them shoot their balls at the table. If only they took a shot at me...

Another Victim

Hi Lex,

i was baffled by all the cases of the CB-policemen modus operandi.
it happened to me last night. and i drove off. i was lucky enough to have
escaped. but i'm still scared, terrified even that they might come after me in the next few days.

do you think that's possible?
or would they probably be busy trying to find the next victim?
i don't know why i was soooo stupid to have done that.
meron ba talagang violation of any ordinance?

please enlighten me in this manner.

Dear D,

Im sorry to hear about your unfortunate incident last night. Very likely, the police wont bother you anymore as logically they would rather be busy looking for a new victim later this evening.

Prostitution is illegal in this country. But before they could charge you for patronizing such commerce, they will have to prove that you actually paid someone to for the activity. And in your case there is no actual proof. So it is very unlikely that they will still pursue your case.

I wish you peace of mind. And please do not patronize those street lurking sex workers who have already victimized several gay men.

The Richard and Cody Affair

Richard Curtis and his boytoy Cody Castagna

If you think Filipino politicians are pain-in-the-neck, wait til you hear about Richard Curtis, the controversial Washington state representative who voted against same sex domestic partnerships and anti-discrimination laws.

In 2007, he was caught by the police having sex with a male prostitute, Cody Castagna whom he met in an adult bookstore. And photos of Curtis in female underwear began to surface.

Curtis eventually resigned from the office.

Twinkie hotties for Tuesday nights

My sister brought me to her favorite gay dance bar with gogo boys and all. Located in along the 17th street in Manhattan, Splash, according to my biologically female sister offers the best choices of sexy dancers.

It was Tuesday night. And she paid around USD30 for both of us. And their Tuesday was their "twinkie nights" where all their hunky dancers are replaced by thin, lanky gay men dancing a la Shakira. And we were both very disappointed.

But hey, the bar is spacious. It has great ambience. And the bartenders were enough to keep everyone feverish.

Ass Bomb?

In April 2010, The California Highway Patrol swung into high terror mode after arresting a man on drug charges and was found to have "a suspicious wire with an on and off switch". Although the man explained that the wire was connected to his vibrator in his anus, the police called on the bomb squad.

After three long hours, the bomb squad found the vibrator and was "rendered to be safe".
