The Gay Bar and the Gay Film

“Mahina na ang gay bar ngayon. Indie films na ngayon ang uso!”

- Bong

Award winning actor Mon Confiado plays Bong, an aggressive gay strip bar owner who ventures into film production for the first time. For Bong, filmmaking is just another way to provide for the voyeuristic needs of the gay market.

"Laruang Lalake opens on Wednesday, October 27 at Robinsons Galleria, Remar (Cubao) and Roben (Recto).

I was disappointed of the movie. There was no story and and it was all blatant sex scenes. If we compared it to the indie shows before like paraiso ni efren, live show - claudia koronel, you get aroused, but get touched by the story.
