Sin!

During the Manila Pride March 2009, a protestant lady haughtily displays her belief that homosexuality is a sin. What I failed to tell that wearing her long skirt together with her orange backpack is a graver sin

May God have mercy on you, dear lady!

lex, you are being so unkind. shame on you!

the protestante woman, aka "little ms. baduy," is actually quite cosmopolitan.

while rummaging through the clearance rack in the bargain basement of walmart, in search of a halloween costume, i came across the exact same skirt and purse combo.

love your gay pride pics. great commentaries too.

i wonder if the orange backpack - floral dress lady has any idea how totally ambiguous her sign is. it could be an anti-gay sign, it could also be a very religious pro-same sex marriage sign. obviously she wasn't a fashion or marketing major.

WALMART HAS A BARGAIN BASEMENT?...
i've never seen one. the box store generally rises up in about 30 days (exaggeration) and no time to dig up a basement. that attitude of "what we wear" is very Filipino. in north america nobody, i repeat nobody, even dare make comment of what you wear. it's your own business and it is upon yourself what is comfortable and affordable. BTW, for basement crawlers, Filene's has a world famous bargain basement.

i don't know which part of north america Anonymous is talking about, because of all the times I've been there, there are normative standards for dress in every community...

MUST HAVE BEEN A LONG TIME (when dinos still roamed the earth) that you were in North America. FYI noticeable big changes evolved within the last few years (ask Muslim Obama). Or, you have been watching a lot of Joan Rivers and her bitchy daughter (what's her name, ahhh! Melissa) who profess themselves as fashion gurus. further, what city did you stay in California or good ol' Ilocano Hawaii? those places infested with "PINOY RATS" (not all ).

They may look funny but their message conveys the truth...

That's why you are hitting them back because truth hurts.
