Kama Sutra Massage(Part 3)

(Part 3)

While lying on my back I was treated to different tactile sensations by Yul, the self titled "Kama Sutra" masseur - his hands carressing my nakedness, elbows wandering and pressing, his bulky chest gliding through my skin, his fist finding its way between my legs to grab by groins. And more -- buns of flesh pressing on your back, his stubbled chin exploring your sensitive regions and a nice, hard thingy pumping between your thighs!

Oh! Did I say this is a very enjoyable experience?

All you need is to throw your inhibitions and let the masseur guide you in exploring your body. And if Yul, is not your type, there are two other guys who perform this signature massage.

One word of caution, though, if you are into luxurious settings, it will be better for you to ask for a private session from the "Boys of Bora" (632-4330158)

Gay Men's Outrage

Along with other concerned Filipino gay men, lesbian, bisexuals and transgenders, we expressed our outrage against the government's blatant discrimination on the LGBT community when the Commission on Election rejected "Ang Ladlad", the LGBT group for party list representation citing our community for being "immoral"

Here are some images from my mobile phone:

The Kama Sutra Massage (Part 2)

(Part 2)

Yul brought me to a small white cubicle with a thin mattress on the floor. He asked me to strip off. And in the grand tradition of Sarsi Emmanuel, I slowly undressed and sat down on one corner of the bed hugging my body as I felt the cold air from the airconditioner.

After taking a shower, Yul, in his see through white pants and electric blue bikini underwear silently prepared the oil, alcohol and hot water. Like a hunky devil he undressed, taking pride of his power lifter's body, grabbed my underwear and asked me to lie on my back.

He started kneading my yoga-tired legs masterfully knowing which points to press. He went to to my upper thighs and from then on, I knew it will be a different massage experience!

The Kama Sutra Massage (Part 1)

(Part 1)

Through a friend from this blog, I was introduced to a Singaporean actor, Danny who was in Manila for an event. I brought him to some of the gay places that he was interested to see.

One of them is the strip of "massage places" for men along Kamias Road, Quezon city. I immediately thought of the "Boys of Bora" who is the only massage place that openly supported the Gay Pride March last year.

"Boys of Bora" is famous for its signature Kama Sutra Massage performed by its swarthy and well built owner, Yul, a former bikini contest model.

I brought Danny to their place and he got his pick for Php350 (not inclusive of tip). Their masseurs are all noticeably well built. No twinks. No fat daddies. They all come in all colors (and certainly in all sizes!).

That evening, I did not have plans of getting a massage since I just treated myself to one of my favorite spas, Sanctuario (in Malate) the other day.

But the owner, Yul is a good friend of one of my closest friends so he offered me something that I just can't resist -- a huge discount on his Kama Sutra massage. And when he started wrapping his bulky arms on my shoulders as he tries to convince me, there was no way I could turn him down!

ImmoRALLY

As a Filipino Gay (Bi/ Trannie/ etc) Man and as an "immoral human being who does not deserve electoral representation" (as stated by the Commission on Election), there are three things you can do against this state sanction against us:

1. JOIN THE PROTEST ACTION ON WED. NOV 25, 2009

ASSEMBLY TIME: 9:30AM
VENUE: COMELEC (Plaza Roma, Intramuros, Manila)

Your group can send your message of solidarity & support to LADLAD at their FB page or email at darnalipad_2000@yahoo.com and danton_ph@yahoo.com

Your group can bring placards, streamers, anything rainbow, be in costume on that protest.

2. LETTER WRITING CAMPAIGN

The Internationall Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC), together with Ang LADLAD will have a letter-writing campaign to pressure Comelec to come up with a decision the soonest time possible.

We will inform you once we have uploaded the letter at the www.iglhrc.org website. You can copy & paste the letter together with the email addresses included in the article and send to the Comelec Commissioners, Commission on Human Rights (CHR) who have been so supportive of LGBT rights especially Atty. De Lima.

3. REPOST THIS INFO

This national discrimination on us, gay men should not be taken sitting down. Let our voices be heard! See you at the rally!

Advice to Gay Filipinos

After being attacked by the Comelec, Mr. Tulfo and even Mr. Beltran, here is a nice piece of advice to Filipino gay men from "David", one of the more intelligent readers of this blog:

sadly, your frustrations are shared by glbt's all over the world.

in my experience, people like mr. tulfo and mr. beltran seldom come around. if and when they do, it is usually in their old age when just getting up in the morning becomes their priority. therefore, your focus might better be centered on educating the youth, your country's future leaders.

the time to be heard is now. make your presence known. get out of that closet! your strength is in your numbers. only support candidates who lobby for anti discrimination in the workplace.

finally, put away your catholic upbringing and don't drop another peso in the church's plate. you might also take a hard look at birth control. its all related.

David

--------------------

Hi David,

Thank you for this wise perspective on our situation.

My favorite among your tips is never to put another peso on the Catholic Church's plate. I hope every gay man heeds this call so the church will soon realize how important we are in the fabric of society.

Now I just hope that Bench, Smart and PLDT are not supporting the church as well.

Lex

Want My Number?

While inside the mall, a gay man boldly approached me. And in his seductively feminine voice, he said "Ang pogi mo naman, nay number ka?" (You're cute. Do you have a number?)

And in my more feminine voice, I replied, "Oo. Number 4, Miss Venezuela!" (Yes, I do. I'm number 4, Miss Venezuela)

Then he turned his back at me.

Pursue the Guy?

This is an advice article from Philippine Daily Inquirer about a 27 year old closet gay man who is secretly attracted to his office mate. Columnist Emily Marcelo writes a beautiful advice to all gay men like this letter sender:

HI EMILY,

I’m 27 years old and I work in the admin department of a call center.

I’m also a closet gay though some officemates know about it. Recently, a guy joined us in the company. He’s also 27 years old, and he’s also discreetly gay like me. With his looks and attitude, I immediately became attracted to him. He’s very nice, amiable and intelligent.

Although we don’t get to talk much, my interest in him grew. I learned that he already has a boyfriend who’s a lawyer in Cebu and this worried me. I want to establish a relationship with him because he fits the qualities I am looking for in a guy. But I don’t want to appear as if I’m stealing boyfriends. Should I pursue the friendship track? How can I make him think that I’m worthy to be a potential partner of his?

DUDE IN LIMBO

Why not first make friends with this guy and see where your emotions go?

He may look handsome, nice, amiable and intelligent, but he may turn out to be a wolf in sheep’s clothing. That can leave you cold on your tracks not to mention disappointed and be turned off in the long run. Just because the wrapping looks nice doesn’t mean what’s inside is great as well.

And just because you’re in the closet doesn’t mean your peers are dense enough not to see what you really are. What’s wrong with being gay?

Everyone is the same under the skin, so you don’t have to stress yourself and hide under any guise. That will only make you unhappy, guilt-ridden and even be the object of sneers. Be yourself no matter what others think.

You don’t owe anything to anybody. You are not making any of their lives awful—except yours. The world is already full of fakery. Try not to be part of it.

Go befriend this guy. But before baring your soul to him, show him the kind of person you really are. He might like you well enough to be part of his life later on... enough to fall in love with you as well.

"Abusive Gays"

In another assault to the fight of gay men for equal rights in Philippine society, columnist Ramon Tulfo, in November 19, 2009 issue of Philippine Daily Inquirer writes that the Commission on Election (COMELEC) is "right about rejecting the application of the group, Ang Ladlad", ang LGBT organization to become a party list group.

With all his bigotry, he states that gays and lesbians should "not go around town proclaiming their preferences as if it was a badge of honor. There is nothing honorable or normal about same sex mariage or union". He adds that "gays and lesbians should not abuse society's doting attitude towards them."

In these words, Mr. Tulfo sumarizes the "macho-centric" ideology that governs the lives of Filipino LGBT.

And this means for my gay brothers and lesbian sisters, our fight is still on.

On A Naked Pic and a Lawsuit

Someone was threatening me with a lawsuit for publishing the naked photo of Ace Ricafort, which was a screenshot from the film "Ang Laro ng Buhay ni Juan".

My dear anonymous, let me guide you with some facts:

1) The image is a screenshot from the film "Ang Laro ng Buhay ni Juan". The owner of the image is the producer Beyond the Box. Only Beyond the Box has the right to sue me for the use of this image.

2) Ace Ricafort has signed a waiver that as an adult person and as an actor, he gives consent to the distribution of his images that has been shot for the content of the film.

3)The actor can sue me only if I took a photo of him without his consent and published it in my blog. i.e. he's taking a shower and I secretly took a photo of him - that constitutes violation of privacy.

In this case, he is naked photographed by film camera which he has consented to record his image for the narrative of a film. And that image is owned by its producer.

With these evident facts, I hope things are much clearer for you.

By the way, actor Ace Ricafort is appearing on another noteworthy film from Senedy Que (Dose). I can't wait to see it.

MSM Leaders

I am excited for the coming 2010 national elections. Two aspirants for two of the the highest positions in the country are MSM (Straight Men who have Sex with Men). And it's certainly not a news that I picked up from a tabloid.

The first one, a good looking candidate actually confessed to me that he goes for male to male sex during his younger years in one of our private conversations.

The second one was a former date of a doctor friend of mine. This second guy, who is an excellent public servant goes around with a loyal and a gorgeous body guard.

The two are both competent leaders. So for me, i'll vote for my candidate based on their platform, their reputation as leaders and their "openness" to the gay lifestyle.

I hope if they get elected they could help kick out the asses of the Comelec officials who turned down the accreditation of the LGBT group "Ang Ladlad".

COMELEC denies gay men's group

Bakla, wala kang lugar sa politika dahil imoral ka!, this is what the Commission on Election is simply saying when they denied "Ang Ladlad", a party list of lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders on basis of moral grounds.

Here's a report from Jonas Bagas of Akbayan:

Bigotry in our ballots

In a decision dated November 11, 2009, the 2nd Division of the Commission on Elections denied the application for accreditation of Ang Ladlad Party-list, a party-list of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgenders, on moral grounds.

The decision was obviously penned by apes.

Signed by Commissioners Nicodemo Ferrer, Lucenito Tagle, and Elias Yusoph, the resolution quoted the Bible and the Koran to claim that Ang Ladlad tolerates immorality, and therefore should not be accredited. They said practicing homosexuals are a threat to the youth.

What these statements imply is that these commissioners have been denied something fundamental when they were still kids: love. I am sure that they were never hugged.

They find it perfectly acceptable to issue a resolution – a legal document – that sounds like a pastoral letter from CBCP or a manifesto from a fundamentalist group. They were quick to cite biblical verses or lines from the Koran, but forgot a basic tenet in our Constitution: that we are all equal, regardless of who we are.

They forgot that as commissioners, they are men of law, not men of faith. That the Commission on Elections is an institution of democracy, not a temple. That, as pointed out by an activist, they swore by the Bible to uphold the constitution, not the other way around. The issue is simple: use the law to determine whether a group should be accredited or not. There are no other standards – just the law.

How can we trust the COMELEC to modernize the electoral system when the commissioners still live in the Victorian era? Be wary, because those that that been mandated to automate the elections still believe that the Earth is the center of the universe. It is said that they weed out from the voters’ list women who are as outspoken as Etta Rosales, and they use tawas to make counting machines fool-proof and fraud-free.

But wariness is not enough. This bigotry is unacceptable. So I, Jonas Bagas, gay since birth, a practicing homosexual (occasionally during weekdays, but mostly during weekends), join my fellow lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders condemning this farce. We won’t take this sitting down. I am a proud member of another LGBT-friendly party-list, AKBAYAN, and I will join Ang Ladlad in this struggle against bigotry in our ballots.

If you want to be part of this fight, then join us this Saturday, November 14, 2009, at 9 AM at the University Hotel of the University of the Philippines in Diliman, QC. We will fight back, and we will recruit more.

Come Out!

Here's a lovely advice for young gay men as written by National Bookstore matriarch and Philippine Star columnist, Socorro Ramos.

Should a model son tell his parents he’s gay?

Dear Nanay,

I am 21 years old, a senior college student and hoping to graduate with Latin honors by March next year. I know that my academic standing makes my parents very proud of me, which I used to hear about from them. I love them very much and I’m not doing anything that would hurt or disappoint them because they have high expectations from me. As much as possible, I’m trying to be an ideal son. However, there’s something in me that they don’t know. No one in our family knows that I’m gay. I started to feel that I was gay when I was in high school and I’ve been able to keep this secret until now.

My father comes from a conservative family and he’s very vocal about his unfavorable judgment of homosexuals. Even my friends don’t know about it. I also had girlfriends before. I am afraid that the people around me might know about my sexuality. I am afraid of rejection.

I sometimes feel guilty and tend to hate myself for having these kinds of feelings. Honestly, I hate being gay. It hurts whenever I hear disapproval of the third sex and I’m tired of keeping my feelings to myself and acting like a real man.

These situations bother me so much. I want to behave normally like I’m supposed to. The opinions and judgments of people that I love matter most.

What should I do? Should I act on what I feel as a gay person? Should I tell my family about it and face the consequences or should I just keep it to myself? — N

Dear N,

First of all congratulations on doing so well in school. I know how hard it is and how much work it takes to do so well for four years. Keep it up and I really hope that you finish with honors when you graduate in March.

With regard to your problem, unfortunately I think only you can decide whether you will tell your parents and friends or not. The circumstances are a little different for every person and I don’t think there is a one-size-fits-all solution.

I can understand why you would be scared. But I also think that society today is much more accepting of gay people than it was 10 or 15 years ago. Iba na ang panahon ngayon. (Times have changed now.) There are many openly gay people who are very successful in different industries. And I think the stereotype that gay people have suffered from in the past is slowly being eliminated.

If I were you, I would just accept the fact that I was gay and be proud of it. Don’t be ashamed. You are not “strange.” You are perfectly normal.

It might be difficult for some parents to accept that their son is gay. But I think they will eventually learn to live with it and accept it because you are still the same son they had before, the same son they love and are so proud of. Wala namang nagbago, diba? (Anyway, nothing has changed, right?) In addition, the sooner you tell them, the sooner they can start adjusting.

Lastly, you cannot keep the secret forever. Magkakabistuhan din iyan. (The truth will eventually come out.) So the sooner you tell them, the less you will have to suffer in silence.

Sincerely,

Nanay

All About Tony

Here's a post about Tony Lapena, one of the daring actors of "Ang Laro ng Buhay ni Juan". Inerview courtesy of Showbiz Tidings :

One of the most notable of the cast of Joselito Altarejos's "Ang Laro ng Buhay ni Juan" is the daring Tony Lapena. "Ang Laro ng Buhay ni Juan" is on its third week at Robinson's Galleria and it will open at three other theaters on November 11, 2009: Isetann Recto, Gotesco Grand Central Caloocan and Remar in Cubao.

How did you get the role for "Ang Laro Ng Buhay ni Juan"?
I heard there was an audition? Lex discoverd me, my friend who owns a bar introduced me to Lex, kailangan nila noon ng walang takot maghubad sa camera. Ako ang naisip agad ng friend ko na si Emil, hehehe makapal daw kasi ang mukha ko, at wala akong issue sa ganun, oo naman, totoo, haha para sa "Little Boy, Big Boy.

Lex said that you have no qualms about nudity, there was a scene in "Little Boy, Big Boy" that was edited out, how do you feel about this kind of censorship?

What is your dream role?

What are your plans for the future? What projects are lined up for you?
Kakatapos ko lang ng "Ben & Sam", with direk Mark Shandi, then may gagawin akong shortfilm with Archie del Mundo, "Taksikab".

What part of your body is the most sexy?
Sabi nila yung hairy chest, pero for me, my eyes.

How would you describe yourself in three words?
Hindi masalita, istrikto, malalim.

Your message to your fans who saw you in "Ang Laro ng Buhay ni Juan"?

Against "Boy Toys"

Philippine Star columnist Cito Beltran is against the use of sexy men for advertising as he has written today. Read his interesting view:

Sex they say always sells.

So “Sex” is now the basic formula for anyone in marketing or any company with a product to sell. From deodorants, underwear, tuna etc there is always a graphic attempt to connect some bare-chested man or an almost naked man or woman in an advertisement.

But when you think about it, you really have to wonder, will the hunk and hottie posing for the tuna commercials become over night blimps if they stopped eating canned tuna? Would you even be interested to date a guy or a girl who probably smells like cat food every time they sweat?

I’m sure you’ll lose a lot of weight if all you ever eat is canned tuna, but what would be the scientific effect on the human body? Will you actually have muscles or fish scales? I don’t mean to be irreverent considering I patronize this particular canned tuna, but there is once again the danger of exaggeration that could put the advertising industry under fire just like they did with Milk products.

In the T-shirt and undergarments business one brand stands out not for the uniqueness of their products but their propensity to display almost naked young men. What we thought was a momentary idea has started to become their corporate symbol. “Boy toys” with nothing but undies.

I know that the average Jane and Joe admire a sexy woman. But most average Jane and Joe don’t react too well with “boy toys” in underwear. Call it bias, call it prudish, call it what you want, but there is a serious need to challenge this over emphasis on naked bodies and sex.

Just this month we noticed billboard ads of a bare-chested man meant to sell some throat medicine. In keeping with the trend, it was no longer sufficient to focus on the sore throat. They had to bare all.

I don’t know if it’s a case of “what goes around comes around”, but from the looks of it, the “sex objects” are now men and “boy toys”. The question is who is masterminding this obsession with male bodies in the advertising industry? Is it simply a trend or an underlying reflection of sexual preference or orientation?
Can we still call it legitimate “advertising” or is now “Commerce with Pornography”?

Here's my take on this issue:

How does he know that images of sexy men does not work for avertising? Apparently, the brands who have used them have been very successful (Bench, F&H, Nesvita, etc). How can he argue with such?

When I was young, I was quite uncomofortable seeing images of sexy men because I immediately feel a strong attraction to it which I knew was not socially acceptable. Mr. Beltran is probably feeling the same way. And for this reason, I completely understand where he is coming from.
