I have always wanted to be a client in a gay bath house or blue bar when a police raids happen.
When these happens, many professional gay men are harrassed by authorities and become victims of extorsion due to the fact that they do not want to be exposed publicly with their sexual orientation.
And that's exactly why I want to be there. To face the TV camera and to proclaim to the whole world that there is nothing illegal with men having sex with other men (as long as it is between two adults, prostitution is not involved and it is not done in a public place)
We need to stand up against these abusive authorities and media personnel.

IRRESPONSIBLE COMMENT...i would not even wish or dare think of a raid in a bathouse or blue bar (whatever that is, we dont use the term) just so to speak out gay lib or human rights rhetoric... majority of bathouse patrons are ORDINARY (closeted, bisexual or those looking for a quick sexual tryst) people. not professionals, political pundits or the financially endowed. raid found-ins could suffer long-term effect from family breakdown, financial havoc, health & social problems or even death...Lex, next time you are in your fave steamies, think of the good time coming and save the speech for later.
My good friend was just a victim of raid last week and having heard his story and how the police has treated other gay men, i could just wish that these things could be put to an end someday.
