Miss California Against Gay Men

After the 1994 Miss Universe Pageant in Manila (which I truly enjoyed), for several reasons, I have lost interest in watching beauty pageants.

And one of these reasons is I no longer have the patience to watch bird brained beauties frolicking their way with public attention and adulation.

And this Miss California is just one of those beautifully stupid creatures I am referring to.

amen! i'm so sick of people saying she had guts. she stumbled around trying not to answer the question and then blurted out a dumb-ass response when the clock was running out. she's a liar and a parrot -- no guts.

Is she not entitled to her own opinion? Hey, not everybody agrees with everybody else? Why force others' views on her? She is just being honest.

WELL SAID ANONYMOUS MAY 3...why ostracize a person when she just wants to express HER OWN true to life belief. gay rights won't garner 100% approval from society. work to get a majority but don't shun and redicule others who disagree...LOVE THY ENEMY.

even if she doesn't approved of gay marriage does not mean that she is bird-brained. it's her opinion. we should respect that.

haven't we learned to respect from our own (gay community) experiences? aren't we the one being narrow-minded?

If we want respect then we must learn to respect others as well. Calling someone stupid because of his/her beliefs is just plain wrong. Say for example you were asked if you are for or against abortion. Whatever answer you give, the other side will say you're stupid. What would you say to that? Try to be more open minded. Peace!

miss california, after her response to the question about same-sex marriage and getting such negative reaction from the public (or some sectors) should stop and think about equal rights, to all peoples in this world.
