The Pope is Anti-Gay

Here's a highly charged email I have read from Mr. Ronald Gue against that statement from that "very holy" Pope:

"I know it is Christmas, and what I should be spreading is peace, happiness, and love, but since this religious occasion has been tainted by no other than the Pope himself with an ill-informed speech delivered on this wonderful time of giving and forgiving, all my Christmas cheer has been wasted. Sadly, the Pope has ruined Christmas.

I am sure you have heard it or read it on the news by now. The unloved leader of the Catholic Church has bashed gender theories and trashed the homosexuals in an unforgiving and un-understanding manner.

The Pontiff has said that gender theories “blur the distinction between males and females.” People, I don’t have any connections with the Vatican , so if anyone of you knows any of the advisers of this Pope, please do tell them to update themselves and read up on the world around them. The sad thing about this Church is that it keeps on meddling on the affairs of the society, and claims to be its keeper, when the only issue about society at large they seem to ever know about is “poverty” (fine, and corruption daw!). I mean, come on! While poverty remains to be a big problem, it is not THE ONLY problem of this world. In fact, even if it were indeed the only problem in the world, how can this Pope wear designers’ shoes and live comfortably in a palace, while claiming from atop his pedestal, “Rainforests deserve, yes, our protection, but the human being ... does not deserve it less.”

Going back to the issue, if only Pope Benedict had done his homework and read up on gender theories and everything that has been written on it, he would have known that the distinction between the males and the females remains, with or without gender theories. Last time I checked, dicks still remain to be largely males’ and vaginas females’. His ignorance lies in the fact that he thinks that “human nature as 'man' or woman'" is “metaphysical.” Talk about someone with social awareness! Nobody even claims that it’s “out-of-date metaphysics”! Gender theories claim that it’s an out-of-date IDEOLOGY. There is nothing metaphysical about ideology. It exists – or plays – in reality and dominates it, too (not to mention that the males once wore high heels, too!).

And if he claims that the blurring of this ideology is a danger to human race, then why doesn’t the wise Pontiff explain what is thus best for the human race, mass production of the humans? Or maybe they would like to twist the miracle of life as a reason for all mankind to procreate incessantly, until everyone dies of hunger, poverty, infections, and many others. Well, if the point against homosexuality is its direction against the natural order of procreation, then why does the very intellectual Pope ignore the fact that the Priests are STOPPED from procreating as well? What then is the use of their God-given sperm cells, for spilling over during their curiously undocumented wet dreams?

The point is the Pope has forgotten that the gays, the lesbians, the women – people who are the main concerns of Gender theories – are part of what he claims to protect, i.e. human race. If and only if the Pope had decided to open his eyes finally to the truths of the society, he would see how a lot of these forgotten-that- they’re-humans- too are actually better looking and are actually more productive in the society than he. And the only threat to the human race that I can think of are violence (homophobia IS violence), idiocy (like close-mindedness and/or Papacy), and diseases (AIDS is not because of homosexuality but because of unprotected sex. Oh! That’s right! The Church is against such protection!) . And for those who have connections with the Vatican , please ask them what they mean when they dichotomize “homosexuality” and “homosexual acts” and say that “Homosexuality is ok but homosexual acts are not.” When is homosexual act disconnected from homosexuality and vice-versa? But never mind. Just ask them for the sake of rhetoric because unlike the Pope, we have done our homework. And we are not the ones who have actually put the human race in peril by praying over the bubonic plague victims while burning the witches who have found the cure, killed thousands of heretics pointlessly, conquered beautiful cultures for conversion, and promoted hatred by labeling the men as men and the others as dangers to the human race. It’s all past, but not paid for. You continue to blame Adam for an imagined sin, why should we stop bringing up your real ones? So while the Pope’s elves are busying wrapping up more excuses for future holidays, may we humbly beseech him, the Father of the much sullied Catholic Church, to remain silent so as to save the future Popes from having more reasons to say they’re sorry."

My plea to all gay Catholics, could you do someting about your leader?

wow...

napaka-ready nung nag comment...

before reading his article, i thought to just let the Pope pass since that's what really is expected of a "conservative" pope that he is...opposite to what Pope John Paul was, a "liberated" pope...

but considering all the arguments that he presented, i couldn't agree with him more...that the Catholic church or any other church and religion for that matter, should be consistent and fair in what they call "protecting the human race"...regardless of color, religion even sexual orientation/preference...we are all humans...period!

in my opinion, instead of creating more confusion, he instead should use his power as the pope to unite every nation like what his predecessor wondrously did...

but we could only hope...that the current pope's eyes will be open to the fast-changing world we are living in right now...

as long as we do our best to live the best way we know how...without hurting other people...it's what we are as a person that defines us as humans and not the gender theories that the society and church has cast upon us all...

to a better 2009!

;p
