Pinoy Gay Films in Rochester






Entertainment writer Edgar Cruz of yehey.com writes about the Filipino gay films in Rochester, New York:

Invited to join Imageout fest“Ang Lihim ni Antonio (Antonio’s Secret),” as helmed by Joselito Alterejos, is the 4th Filipino film to be screened in the Imageout Film Festival held in Rochester, New York annually.

The other films are: “The Man in her Life (Ang Lalake sa Buhay ni Selya)” (1998) as megged by Carlitos Siguon-Reyna; “Three (Tatlo...Magkasalo)” (1998), also by Carlitos Siguon-Reyna; “The Blossoming of Maximo Oliveros (Ang Pagdadalaga ni Maximo Oliveros)” (2006) by Aureus Solito.

“Ang Lihim ni Antonio” has the distinction of being picked out in the prestigious annual filmfest.

It was shortlisted based on the recommendation of the “Philippine Daily Inquirer” and invited to participate. It was not submitted which was the usual method movies do to get to join filmfests."

AHH! ROCHESTER...by air, I90 or L.Ontario what a city to remember, what a city easy to forget.
